Joseph L. Wroblewski & Normajean Wroblewski —

Mr. and Mrs. Wroblewski, both natives of Ashley, purchased our funeral home from Mrs. Laura Baloga shortly after the death of her husband, John J Baloga.

Mr. Joseph Wroblewski, a first generation funeral director, along with his wife Normajean operated our funeral home for many years as John J. Baloga Funeral Home, but eventually changed the funeral home’s name to the Joseph L. Wroblewski Funeral Home.

Aaron W. Pietryka —
Licensed Supervisor

Aaron W. Pietryka, a native of Lackawanna County, was raised in the Newton-Ransom section of Clarks Summit.

He is the son of Theodore J. and Audrey L. (Gabriel) Pietryka. Aaron has one brother, Theodore J. Pietryka, Jr., Old Forge and one sister, Jennifer L. Pietryka, Tacoma, Washington. He has three nephews, Gabriel, Garrett, and Theodore J. Pietryka III.

He is a 1993 graduate of Abington Heights High School. Aaron went on to further his education at the John Jay School of Criminal Justice, New York City and Luzerne County Community College, Nanticoke. He is a 1998 graduate of Northampton Community College, School of Funeral Service, Bethlehem, and received his professional licensure in 2000.

Prior to acquiring the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc. in 2004, Aaron was employed as a funeral director in Lancaster County.

Aaron is a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Parish, Swoyersville. Also, he is a member of the Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association and a former member of the Lancaster County Funeral Directors Association. Aaron is a licensed insurance agent with the State of Pennsylvania, specializing in pre-arranged funeral insurance. Aaron is a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Assumpta Council # 3987, Luzerne. Aaron enjoys spending time with his family, gardening around the funeral home and supporting and giving back to his community.

Thomas B. Wiedlich —
Licensed Funeral Director

Thomas B. Wiedlich, a native of Luzerne County, was raised in the Mayflower Section of Wilkes-Barre.

He is the son of Paul T., Sr. and Mary Patricia (Calore) Wiedlich. Thomas has three brothers, Paul T. Wiedlich, Jr., Hanover Township, David M. Wiedlich and his wife Kellie, Pottstown, and his twin brother Matthew S. Wiedlich and his wife, Stephanie, Kingston. He also has one sister Amy Marie Wiedlich, Wilkes-Barre. He has two nephews, Aiden Wiedlich, of Hanover Township, and Lukas Wiedlich, of Pottstown; and one niece Emily Elizabeth Wiedlich, of Hanover Twp.

He is a 2003 graduate of G.A.R. Memorial High School, Wilkes-Barre. Thomas went on to further his education at Luzerne County Community College, where he acquired an Associate of Science Degree in Pre-Mortuary Science. He is a 2006 graduate of Northampton Community College, School of Funeral Service, Bethlehem, and received his professional licensure in 2007.

Prior to joining the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., Tom worked side-by-side for five years with his mentor, the late Mary A. Harostock, owner of the former Mary A. Harostock Funeral Home, Wilkes-Barre.

Tom is a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Parish, Swoyersville. He is also a member of the Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association and the Luzerne County Funeral Directors Association. In his spare time, Tom enjoys spending time with his family, especially his niece and nephews. He also takes great pride in supporting and giving back to his community.
