Family of Bill Galletti: I am Elaine's cousin Shirley Perhalla. Elaine is the daughter of Uncle Fred and Aunt Rena Galletti. Elaine is currently in Assisted Living in Pittston, and she asked me to send you her sympathy. She does not go too many places since Aunt Rena died several years ago. I am her caretaker. I told Elaine about Bill's passing. May God Bless you in your time of sorrow.

I have played a lot of football in my younger days. Bill Galletti was as tough as anyone I played against. Left with great memories. My condolences to Bill's family. Alan Zerfoss, Newport HS, University of Wyoming

Patti and family. I'm so sorry to hear about Bill passing. I didn't know he was sick and was quite shocked when I found out on line. Bill was such a fun and kind guy. I remember looking up to him because of his gifted athletic ability. My thought and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Sincerely, Jim Sawchak

Dear Pat and family , I'm so sorry to hear about my ole teammate and friend .I hope he didn't suffer much . I just sat back in my chair an started to remember all the great times I had being around this special guy . From when I was a teenager and use to go to games and watched him play with such a passion for the game . BOY COULD HE HIT !!! It was always great to know he was hitting in front of me on all those great Leslie Fay teams .I know I was the pup of those teams but he made me feel welcome all the time. After I gave up playing I started umpiring little league games to help young kids learn things I learned from great ball players like him. Wish I could have keep in touch with him but our paths went seperate ways . I thank the Lord for getting to know him for that short time . "REST IN PEACE MY DEAR FRIEND".
