Wenche Patricio-Belton, 66, a resident of Swoyersville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, following a lengthy illness.Her loving husband is David Belton. David and Wenche would have celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary on November 30th.Born on September 07, 1948, in Norway, Wenche was the daughter of the late Svien and Edla Nygard.Wenche was employed as a cook, waitress, and bartender over the years. Prior to retiring, she was employed as a bartender for Wings, located at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport.Wenche was an outgoing person who always had a smile on her face. Her lively personality turned strangers into family! She enjoyed the simple things in life, such as tending to her plants and playing solitare.Most of all, she had a great devotion to her family.
