Thomas R. Kopec, 67, a resident of Larksville, passed away on Sunday, December 04, 2016, at his home.

His loving wife is Patricia A. (Kondrak) Kopec. Together, Tom and Patty celebrated their 44^th wedding anniversary on September 9^th.

Born on April 06, 1949, in Kingston, Tom was the son of Victoria (Yagojinski) Kopec, and the late Leo S. Kopec.

Raised in Forty Fort, Tom was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School, Class of 1967.

Tom was employed in the elevator industry all of his life, working in various capacities over the years. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a State Elevator Inspector for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

A faithful Catholic, Tom was a member of Saint Ignatius Loyola Church, Kingston.

In addition to his wife, Patricia, and his mother, Victoria, Tom is survived by his daughter, Frankie Kopec, Wilkes-Barre; his son, Thomas Kopec and his wife, Ashley, Wilmington, Delaware; his brothers, Leon Kopec, Harrisburg; Robert Kopec, Forty Fort; Edward Kopec, Forty Fort; and James Kopec, Kingston; his sister, Patricia Ricci, Mission, Texas; his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and his beloved cat, Winter.

Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
