Thomas J. Lewis, 50, a resident of Coral Springs, Florida, and formerly of Forty Fort, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, following a lengthy illness.
Born on November 05, 1969, in Kingston, Thomas was the son of Mary Elizabeth (Stahovec) Lewis, Forty Fort, and the late William M. Lewis Sr.
A graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School, Tom received his Associate Degree from Luzerne County Community College, and was employed in the hospitality field.
Tom was an artist, an athlete, was never at a loss for words. He enjoyed life to the fullest, and even in sickness, he was a fighter.
In addition to his father, William M. Lewis Sr., Tom was preceded in death by his brother, William M. Lewis Jr.; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
In addition to his mother, Mary Elizabeth Lewis, Tom is survived by his siblings, Elizabeth Lewis, Austin, Texas, and her sons, Stephen, William, and Michael Black; Dan Lewis, Freemont, California; Leo Lewis and wife, Dawn, Nazareth, and their children, Kristen (Brandon) Collins, Zachary, Luke, and Ian Lewis; Mary Lacy and husband, James, West Chester, and their sons, Connor, Topher, and Max Lacy; his Life-Partner, Kadie Thompson, Coral Springs, Florida, and their dog, Yogurt; as well as his aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A graveside blessing service will be celebrated on Friday, September 25, 2020, at 11:00 AM in Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Cemetery, Swoyersville, with the Reverend Joseph J. Pisaneschi, Pastor of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Swoyersville, officiating.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., 1442 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort.
