Teresa Marie Drogalis, 68, a resident of Duryea, passed away on Saturday evening, January 06, 2024, following a brief illness.
Her husband of 41 years is Jerome “Jed” Drogalis.
Born on June 08, 1955, in Pittston, Teresa was the daughter of the late Lewis E. Joseph and Margaret McKitish Joseph.
Raised in Duryea, Teresa was a graduate of Pittston Area High School and the University of Scranton.
Teresa was a devout member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Holy Rosary Church, Duryea.
Teresa spent her adult life in constant care of her family, talking to her children daily and frequently visiting her grandchildren, and her community, always offering help where her skills and time were needed. She was a model for her family of how to give generously and joyfully and taught them how to live a remarkable life through daily acts of service.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jerome “Jed”, and their four children, Diana and her husband, Sean, Phoenix, AZ; Christina and her husband, Drew, Portland, OR; James and his wife, Anna, Madison, WI; Michael and his wife, Lucille, Newcastle, WA; grandchildren, Lucas, Nathan, Emma, Graham, Robin, Lila, Linus, Leon, Claire, and Hailey; brother, John Joseph, Dunmore; sister, Betty Rehoski, Duryea; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Teresa’s viewing which will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., 1442 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort.
Teresa’s funeral service will begin with a visitation on Friday, January 12, 2023, from 9:00 to 10:00 AM in Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Holy Rosary Church, 127 Stephenson Street, Duryea, with her Mass of Christian Burial to commence at 10:00 AM. The Reverend Father Paul A. McDonnell O.S.J., family friend, will be the celebrant.
Entombment with the Rite of Committal will follow in Mount Olivet Roman Catholic Cemetery, Carverton section of Kingston Township.
