Teresa “Terry” Kraynak, 51, a resident of Harding, passed away on Wednesday morning, June 18, 2014, at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born on December 26, 1962, in Pittston, Teresa was the daughter of Thomas and Barbara (Cobane) Kraynak.
Teresa was a graduate of West Side Vo-Tech, Pringle and worked for United Rehabilitation Services (URS), Wilkes-Barre for over twenty years. Recently, Teresa was a participant in the art program for people with special needs, Verve Vertu.
Teresa was a member of the Church of the Holy Redeemer, Harding.
Endeared by many, Terry touched everyone in the most special way.
In addition to her devoted parents and constant caregivers, Thomas and Barbara Kraynak, Teresa is survived by her sister, Colleen Kraynak-Poor and her husband Ken, Dallas; her brother, Thomas Kraynak, Jr. and his wife Mary, West Wyoming; her niece, Caitlyn, West Wyoming and her brother, Chris, Exeter.
The Family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Drs. Mario and Marie Adajar, as well as the doctors and staff of the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, for the special care and compassion they bestowed upon Teresa.
There will be no funeral services at this time. A Memorial Service celebrating Terry’s life will be determined at a later date.
