Sudha P. Idgunji, 65, a resident of Wilkes-Barre, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, April 24, 2015, at the Riverstreet Manor, Wilkes-Barre, where she was recently a guest.Her loving husband is Pradeep Idgunji. Pradeep and Sudha would have celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary on October 19th.Born on April 13, 1950, in Hyderabad, India, Sudha was the daughter of the late Gangadhar and Indira (Taribagil) Borkar.In 1981, Pradeep and Sudha immigrated to the United States, settling in Wilkes-Barre.Sudha received her early education in India, where she obtained a degree in Commercial Art from J.J. School of Art, and attended Bhavan’s College, where she received her Master’s Degree in Mass Communication. She later went on to attend Bombay University, where she received her Master’s Degree in English Literature.Here in the United States, Sudha attended Weber State University where she received her Bachelor Degree in Computer Science. She also studied Banking and Insurance at Luzerne County Community College.For many years, Sudha was employed in the local banking industry, working as a bookkeeper in the accounting offices of Bank of America, P.N.C. Bank, and First Eastern Bank.Sudha was a member of the Indo-American Association of Northeastern Pennsylvania, where she served as President from 2003-2004 and played an active role thereafter.A well cultured woman, Sudha had a great appreciation for art, and was blessed to be able to travel throughout the world.Sudha had a passion for cooking and socializing with her many friends with whom she maintained close connections.Although her presence will be deeply missed, Sudha will forever be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend.In addition to her loving husband, Pradeep, Sudha is survived by her daughter, Priya and her husband, Jason Tomsak, Forty Fort; her sisters, Mala Skelton, Los Angeles, California; Rekha Mehra and her husband, Rakesh, Melbourne, Australia; Rupa Borkar, Mumbai, India; her nephew, Rishi Mehra, London, England; and her niece, Rachna Ferguson, Sydney, Australia; in addition to her extended family and friends.Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend Sudha’s viewing which will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, from 5:30 to 8:30 PM, at the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., 1442 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort.A private family funeral service, followed by cremation, will take place on Wednesday at the Sunlight Crematory, Hanover Township.For additional information or to send the Idgunji Family an online message of condolence, you may visit the funeral home web-site www.wroblewskifuneralhome.com.Memorial Donations may be made in Sudha’s memory to the Arsha Vidya Gurukulam Temple, P.O.
