My dearest brother, best friend, I have no words to describe the pain & void I feel losing you so unexpectedly. I do take comfort you are now with our brother Michael & our dad. My life has forever changed with losing my two eldest brothers within 9 months of each other but I know the two of you are laughing & enjoying seeing dad again & having a ball. I have a void in my heart that will never heal, but knowing you’re with your best friend & brother, gives me some comfort. Give dad & Michael a big hug & kiss from me brother. I love you & miss you forever. Kim

Steve was such a joy to see in the office at Chewy. He had a way of making me (and I’m sure many others) feel seen and appreciated. He had only known me a few months but Steve helped me move into my apartment in Pittson….on his day off, in the freezing cold, before a winter storm, on a Saturday morning. If that doesn’t speak volumes about the kind of guy he was, I don’t know what does! Overwhelmed with gratitude after all the boxes were unloaded, I thanked him and my other friends. His response was “that’s what friends are for.” I will never forget how such simple words made me feel. He truly had a way of making the room light up and hearts feel full. I am grateful to have known him. My deepest condolences to his family, friends and all my fellow Chewtopians who miss him dearly.
