Sandra L. Ioanna Evans, 75, a resident of Ashley, passed into eternal life on Tuesday evening, November 30, 2021, at her home, with her loving daughter at her side.

Above all, Sandy will be best remembered for the abounding love she had for each of her loved ones, most especially her granddaughter, Kaelee, who was the light of Sandy’s life! Although her presence will be missed beyond measure, her beautiful spirit will live on forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Peter and Ida Ioanna, Sandy was preceded in death by her husband, David J. Evans, who passed away on March 05, 2017; her brothers, Alva and Ernest Jones; and her sister, Shirley Jones Layaou.
