Rosemary L. Puterbaugh, 57, a resident of Harding, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, December 03, 2021, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township, following a brief illness.
Born on April 16, 1964, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Rosemary was the daughter of Rose Mary (Furman) Puterbaugh, Harding, and the late John F. Puterbaugh, who passed away on August 25, 2021.
Rosemary was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School, Class of 1982, and later went on to further her education at Luzerne County Community College, Nanticoke, where she acquired her Associates Degree in Accounting.
Over the years, Rosemary worked in the accounting offices of Borton-Lawson Engineering, Wilkes-Barre; Bonner Chevrolet, Wilkes-Barre; and C.C. Young Insurance, Scranton.
Rosemary had many enjoyments in life, especially vacations to various beaches; trips to Atlantic City; going to concerts; and shopping. Above all, her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her loved ones, most especially her son, Dylan, who was the light of her life. Although Rosemary’s presence will be missed beyond measure, her beautiful spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
In addition to her mother, Rose Mary, Rosemary is survived by her son, Dylan Puterbaugh, Kingston; her brothers, John E. Puterbaugh and his wife, Sandy, Dallas; and Wesley M. Puterbaugh, Mountaintop; her companion, James Starzecki, Wilkes-Barre; her aunts, Helen Gilbertson, Sweet Valley; Kathleen Jenkins, Shavertown; and Joanna Hunter, Loyalville; her nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a prayer service which will be celebrated on Friday, December 10, 2021, at 11:00 AM, in the chapel of Memorial Shrine Cemetery, 8th Street, Wyoming, with the Reverend Carol Folk, Pastor of Loyalville United Methodist Church, Harveys Lake, officiating.
