Rosemary A. Calo, a resident of Luzerne, passed unexpectedly into eternal life on Monday morning, September 02, 2024, at her home.
Her loving husband of 56 years is Benjamin Calo.
Born in Kingston, Rosemary was one of two children born the late Frank Rosavage and Eva Kopec Rosavage. Her brother, Frank Ross; and her nephews, Michael and Steven Ross, also preceded her in death.
A devout Catholic, Rosemary was a lifelong member of the former Saint Mary of Czestochowa Church, Swoyersville, and since its closure has been a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Swoyersville.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Benjamin Calo; her step-son, Benjamin Calo Jr. and his wife, Lee; her step-granddaughter, Isabella Calo; her two nephews, Alan and Gary Ross and their families; and numerous cousins.
In keeping with Rosemary’s wishes, all services will be private. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Swoyersville, with burial to follow in Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Swoyersville.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., 1442 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort.
