A Teacher, Mother and great friend to my Parents John and Mary Maksimik. Your mother was a wonderful person of honesty, commitment to family and music. She helped to shape many young musicians in the valley. I miss her and Johnny Sobol too. God Bless. John Maksimik Jr.

I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that God sees your tears of pain and has promised to remove all things that make us cry, including death at Isaiah 25:8 and Revelation 21:3, 4. These scriptures have brought me comfort in my times of loss. I hope that they are comforting to you as well.

Suzie, I have many wonderful memories of your mom. I can still see her sitting in her chair as she did trumpet lessons with my brothers and picking up her horn and playing along with them. She was a kind and giving person and she will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with and you entire family during this difficult time. Karen Jennings Kluk

As one of her students I witnessed, first-hand, the amazing talent of this wonderful woman. She shared her gift with so many young people and truly changed so many lives. Anyone that was privileged enough to take trumpet lessons from her, or play in an orchestra by her side, will tell you that her love for music and children was beyond description. She always referred to her students as her “kids”, and the way she felt our same pride when we did well, and our disappointment when we didn’t quite make first chair in an audition, I truly felt that we were her “kids”. She is responsible for creating so many wonderful memories for me during my grade school, middle school and high school years. Thank you Rosemarie.
