Rose Ann Shultz, 91, a resident of Swoyersville, entered into eternal life, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday evening, September 25, 2024.
Her beloved husband was the late Stanley J. Shultz, who passed away on June 28, 1996, after 42 wonderful years of marriage. Stanley was undoubtedly the love of Rose Ann’s life! Inseparable from the day they met, the years she shared with her husband were her happiest, and knowing that they are now reunited in Heaven brings peace and comfort to the hearts of her loved ones.
Born on May 26, 1933, in Kingston, Rose Ann was one of two daughters born to the late Anthony Zdancewicz and Anna Stascavage Zdancewicz.
Raised in Swoyersville, Rose Ann was a graduate of the former Swoyersville High School, Class of 1951.
A devoted homemaker most of her life, Rose Ann went on to work after raising her children in the housekeeping department of the Luzerne County Courthouse, Wilkes-Barre, retiring after 14 years there.
Rose Ann was a longtime member of the former Saint Mary of Czestochowa Church, Swoyersville. Following the consolidation of her church, she became a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Swoyersville.
Family was the cornerstone of Rose Ann’s life and she treasured every moment she shared with her loved ones. She will be fondly remembered for her most beautiful qualities – those being a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.
In addition to her parents, Anthony and Anna Zdancewicz, and her husband, Stanley, Rose Ann was preceded in death by her grandson, Cory Shultz.
Left to cherish her memory are her three children, David Shultz and his wife, Donna, Trucksville; Karen Nat and her husband, Martin, Swoyersville; and Stanley Shultz Jr. and his wife, Debbie, Dallas; her grandchildren, Heather Shultz and her fiancé, Codie Dotter; David Shultz and his wife, Natalie; Adrienne Sutton and her husband, Josh; and Martin Nat and his fiancée, Alannah Gallagher; her great-grandchildren, Carson and Raegan Shultz, Hayley Dotter, and Shelby and Aubrey Sutton; her sister, Patricia Bonsavage, Hanover Township; her dear friends and neighbors, Dan and Jean Miller, whom she regarded as her own family; and her loving dog, Utley.
In accordance with Rose Ann’s wishes, the viewing and blessing service will be private for her family and close friends.
Interment with the Rite of Committal will follow in Saint Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Swoyersville.
The Shultz Family entrusted Rose Ann’s funeral arrangements to the care of the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., 1442 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort.
