Rosalie A. Orlandini, 81, a lifelong resident of Swoyersville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday evening, March 23, 2015, at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.Her beloved husband was the late Leo E. Orlandini Jr., who passed away on February 03, 2003. Together, Leo and Rosalie shared 47 wonderful years of marriage.Born on September 01, 1933, in Swoyersville, Rosalie was the daughter of the late Frank and Josephine (Volpe) Licata.Rosalie was a graduate of the former Swoyersville High School, Class of 1950. Following high school, she went on to further her education at Temple University, where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy in 1954.Prior to her retirement, Rosalie was employed as a Registered Pharmacist for the former Revco Drug, Berwick. In her earlier years, she and her husband, who was also a Pharmacist, operated their own drug store in Pittston.Rosalie was a longtime member of the former Holy Name/Saint Mary’s Parish Community, Swoyersville.A woman of many enjoyments, Rosalie especially enjoyed working her crossword puzzles, and watching her favorite soap opera, “Days of Our Lives.”Rosalie’s family was the center of her life, and she cherished every moment she had with her loved ones. She held a special place in her heart for her grandchildren, and she shared a unique bond with each of them. Although her presence will be deeply missed, there is much comfort in knowing she is reunited with her husband, son and all those who have gone before her.In addition to her parents, Frank and Josephine Licata, and her husband, Leo, Rosalie was preceded in death by her son, Francis “Chico” Orlandini, who passed away on February 06, 1986.Rosalie is survived by her son, Leo E. Orlandini III and his wife, Darlene, Dallas; her daughters, Sandra Orlandini Schappert and her husband, Joe, Swoyersville; and Christina Orlandini and her fiancé, Jason Dymond, Swoyersville; her grandchildren, Dr. Justin Michael Orlandini; Joshua Tyler Orlandini, Devin Joseph Schappert, Alexandra Schappert, and Connor Francis Dymond; her brothers, Angelo Licata and his wife, Helen, Swoyersville; and Joseph Licata and his wife, Mae, Dallas; her numerous nieces and nephews.Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral which will be conducted on Friday, March 27, 2015, at 9:15 AM from the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., 1442 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort, followed by a Blessing Service with the Rite of Committal at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Mount Olivet Roman Catholic Cemetery, Mount Olivet Road, Carverton, with the Reverend Joseph J.
