Robert W. Bellio left this world with Jesus to claim his eternal citizenship in heaven on Wednesday, December 20, 2017. He was 69 years old and a resident of Bear Creek Township.
Robert is survived by his loving wife Loraine “Lori” (Francischelli) Bellio. They celebrated their 43rd wedding Anniversary on October 3rd.
Born on December 03, 1948, in Paterson, New Jersey, Robert was the son of John Bellio, of West Palm Beach, Florida, and the late Wilhelmina Koning. Along with his mother, his brother, Frank Usas, preceded him in death.
Robert was raised in New Jersey and was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School where he played football. He attended Bloomfield College where he majored in History and Education.
Robert was a Master Plumber and the founder of Bellio Plumbing and Heating Grand Island New York; in 1987 the family moved to Pennsylvania and the business is currently in Kingston, Pennsylvania and operated by his sons Joshua and Seth.
He was a member of The Perspective Church, Pittston, Pennsylvania, and Jesus People of Boca Raton, Florida. He was active locally with Faith Broadcasting Network Television.
Robert’s interests and activities were many and varied. He played semi-pro football and was an avid Miami Dolphin fan. He enjoyed nature, walks in the woods, and hunting. He was a scholar and a brilliant history buff.
One of his greatest joys was supporting his children and grandchildren and attending their concerts, football, basketball, and baseball games and wrestling meets. He also enjoyed maintaining and watching everyone swim in his pool, and adored his dogs Malachi, Gus, and Zeke.
In addition to his wife, Loraine, and his father John, Robert is survived by his six children, Alyssa Fusaro, Luzerne; Robert T. Bellio and his wife, Tara, Wilkes Barre; Denielle Hamilton and her husband Jeffrey, Edwardsville; Brooke Bellio, Wyalusing; Joshua Bellio, Kingston; and Seth Bellio and his fiancée Caitlyn Nossavge, Kingston; his 10 grandchildren; his sister Wilhemina Reese, Grand Island, New York, and her 4 children.
Friends and Relatives may call from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 06, 2018, at Dorranceton United Methodist Church, 549 Wyoming Avenue, Kingston, Pennsylvania, and are respectfully invited to attend Robert’s Memorial Service which will be celebrated at 2:00PM. The Reverend Kathy Potera, Reverend Samuel Washington, Perspective Church; and Reverend Billy Thompson, of Jesus People International of Boca Raton, Florida will officiate.
