Robert E. Trzeciak, 73, a resident of Mountain Top, passed into eternal life unexpectedly on Monday afternoon, December 26, 2022, at his home, with his beloved wife at his side.
His loving wife is the former Mary Louise Wiedlich. Bob and Mary Louise celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary on June 25th, yet, in total, they were blessed to share 28 beautiful years together.
Born on February 02, 1949, in Hanover Township, Robert was one of two sons born to the late Edward Trzeciak and Leona Casper Trzeciak.
Raised in Hanover Township, Bob was a graduate of Hanover High School, Class of 1967. Following high school, he went on to further his education at Luzerne County Community College, and Mansfield State College, where he acquired his Bachelor’s Degree in Education.
Prior to his retirement in 2011, Bob was employed as a procurement analyst for the Pennsylvania Power and Light Company (PP&L) at their nuclear power plant in Berwick.
A prayerful and devout Catholic, Bob was a member of Saint Andrew’s Parish, Saint Patrick’s Church, Wilkes-Barre. He was also a social member of the Polish American Veterans, Plains Township.
An avid outdoorsman, Bob enjoyed golfing with friends, and going on bike rides and hikes with his wife. He and his wife shared a passion for travel – they were blessed to visit so many wonderful places together.
A kind and caring man, you could always depend on Bob to be there to lend a helping hand or listening ear. His wife was the love of his life and that love was only rivaled by his grandchildren who affectionately referred to him as “Pop Pop”. Although Bob’s presence will be missed beyond measure, he leaves behind a legacy of love that will forever be cherished by his family.
In addition to his parents, Edward and Leona Trzeciak, Bob was preceded in death by his only brother, Edward P. Trzeciak.
In addition to his wife, Mary Louise, Bob is survived by his step-sons, Michael Musto, Forty Fort; and Brad Musto and his wife, Sara, Morristown, New Jersey; his two grandchildren, Joseph and Elizabeth Musto; his dear cousin, Ron Trzeciak and his wife, Linda, Hanover Township; as well as his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Bob’s viewing which will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, at the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., 1442 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort.
Funeral services will begin with a second viewing on Friday, December 30, 2022, from 11:00 to 11:45 AM, at Saint Andrew’s Parish, Saint Patrick’s Church, 316 Parrish Street, Wilkes-Barre. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the viewing at 12:00 PM with the Reverend Father James E. McGahagan, Pastor Emeritus, officiating.
Family and friends are asked to assemble directly at the church on Friday.
Private Interment with the Rite of Committal will follow in Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Hanover Township.
