Rebecca M. Czock, 64, a resident of Pittston, passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, April 04, 2023, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township, following a valiant battle with cancer.
Born on October 28, 1958, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, Rebecca was the daughter of Ronald Anderson, Louisiana, and the late former Betty Jane Love.
Prior to her illness, Rebecca was employed for 15 years as an administrative assistant for WVIA Studios, Pittston.
A woman of many enjoyments, Rebecca especially enjoyed spending time outdoors – whether it be vacations to the beach, tending to her plants, or simply enjoying a sunny day, she loved being one with nature. She also had a knack for painting ceramics, and loved her home state of Louisiana, and cheering on her beloved New Orleans Saints.
Rebecca was fiercely devoted to her family and she loved them with all her heart. The great love she had for her family, along with her fun-loving and outgoing personality, will be remembered by her family and friends for generations to come.
In addition to her father, Ronald Anderson, Rebecca is survived by her loving companion of 25 years, Keith Gehegan, Pittston; her children, Rebecca Michelle Moore and her husband, Chris, Slidell, LA; Wallace “Beau” McCarroll and his wife, Kristen, Wyoming; and Robert Czock Jr. and his fiancée, Amber Sladin, Wilkes-Barre Twp.; her grandchildren, Kristen, Lauren, and Madison Carter; Mackenzie Carambat; Nicholas Moore; and Callen, Jenna, and Alexa McCarroll; her great-grandchildren, Avalyn and Grayson Millon; her brothers and sisters, Eddy Smith; Shirley Lee and her husband, Mark; Lisa Magee and her husband, Glen; Lynn Watkins; and Lauren King, all of Louisiana; Ronald Anderson Jr., Florida; and Patty Joiner, Texas; her half-sister, Kaye Plusket, North Carolina; her former husband and friend, Robert Czock Sr., Wilkes-Barre Twp.; as well as her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
