Nancy J. Smiley, 86, of Dallas, Pennsylvania, formerly of New Bloomfield, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 03, 2022.
Born in Thompsontown, Pennsylvania, Nancy was the daughter of the late Eleanor Fry Kugle.
Nancy was a member of Mt Gilead United Methodist Church, Shermans Dale, PA.
She retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue with over 20 years of service.
The greatest joy of her life was being with her family and friends and she will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
In addition to her mother, Eleanor, Nancy was preceded in death by her brothers, H. Wayne Fry and his wife, Sarah; Samuel P. Kugle and his wife, Anita; her sister-in-law, Gloria Kugle; and her companion of over 30 years, Richard M. Wisegarver.
Nancy is survived by her daughter, Jayne E. Psolka (Robert) of Dallas, PA; her grandsons, Jacob L. Psolka, USN and Joshua R. Psolka; her brother, Reverend Joseph L. Kugle (Martha), Carlisle, PA; her sister, Susan Morrow (Donald), New Bloomfield, PA; and her sister, Linda A. Rhine, Shiremanstown, PA.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at CenterMoreland United Methodist Church, 17 Creamery Road, Tunkhannock, PA, beginning with visitation at 11:00 AM, followed by a Memorial Service at Noon.
Burial will be Mt. Gilead United Methodist Church Cemetery, Shermans Dale, PA, at the convenience of the family.
Funeral Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., 1442 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort, PA 18704.
