Mary T. Bebey, 90, a longtime resident of Swoyersville, passed away peacefully on Monday evening, September 15, 2014, at the Riverstreet Manor, Wilkes-Barre.Her beloved husband was the late Stephen M. Bebey, who passed away on April 19, 1976. Together, Stephen and Mary shared 30 years of marriage.Born on March 02, 1924, in West Wyoming, Mary was the daughter of the late Stanley and Mary (Findura) Rosiak.Prior to her retirement, Mary was employed by various garment manufacturers throughout the Wyoming Valley.A faithful Catholic, Mary was a member of the former Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Swoyersville, where she held membership with the parish’s Confraternity of Christian Women. Active within her church, Mary volunteered every year to help prepare the food for the parish’s annual bazaar. Following the consolidation of her church, she became a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Swoyersville.Mary was an active member of the Swoyersville Senior Citizens and, also held membership with the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.A woman of many enjoyments, Mary especially enjoyed going to various casinos and dancing the polka with her friends at the W.V.I.A. studio.The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the nurses and staff at the Riverstreet Manor, Wilkes-Barre, for the gentle and compassionate care they bestowed upon Mary during her time of need.In addition to her parents, Stanley and Mary Rosiak, and her husband, Stephen, Mary was preceded in death by her two brothers, Frank and Joseph Rosiak.Mary is survived by her daughter, Carol Bebey, Wapwallopen; her granddaughter, LoriAnn Gallagher and her husband, Jim; her grandson, Stephen Grabowski; many nieces, nephews and friends.Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral which will be conducted on Thursday, September 18, 2014, at 10:30 AM from the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., 1442 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 AM in Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 116 Hughes Street, Swoyersville, with the Reverend Joseph J.
