Marguerite A. Silvent, 91, a resident of West Wyoming, passed into eternal life on Thursday evening, January 22, 2015, at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.Her loving husband is Edward A. Silvent. Together, Ed and Marge celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary on June 17th.Born on December 30, 1923, in Swoyersville, Marguerite was one of eight children born to the late John and Mary (Dudas) Klisch.Raised in Swoyersville, Marge was a graduate of the former Swoyersville High School.A homemaker most of her life, she lovingly tended to the daily needs of her home and family.Besides being a full-time homemaker, Marge also served as an insurance saleswoman for the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association, Branch 36, Swoyersville. As a young woman, she was employed by the Social Security Administration at their office in Wilkes-Barre.Marge was a faithful Catholic and life-long member of the former Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Swoyersville. Following the consolidation of the church, she became a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Swoyersville.A very prayerful woman, Marge’s faith in God was evident in all she did throughout her life. She was blessed to instill her strong faith in the hearts of her children and grandchildren.Marge enjoyed the simple things in life, such as cooking, baking, and cleaning for her family; visiting with her siblings, children, and grandchildren; and taking walks around her neighborhood.Family meant the world to Marguerite and she maintained a very close bond with each of her loved ones. Although her presence will be deeply missed, she will always be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.In addition to her parents, John and Mary Klisch, Marguerite was preceded in death by her brothers, John, Joseph and Stephen Klisch; her sisters, Ann Katchmer and Mary Mravcak; her granddaughter, Theresa Jane Morrow; and most recently, her daughter-in-law, Marijke Silvent.In addition to her husband, Edward, Marguerite is survived by her children, Therese M. Silvent-Schense, Leesburg, Virginia; Margaret A. Morrow, Bear Creek; and Edward F. Silvent, Leesburg, Virginia; her seven grandchildren; her sisters, Helen Savinski, Swoyersville; and Elizabeth Savner, Edison, New Jersey; and many generations of nieces and nephews.Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral which will be conducted on Monday, January 26, 2015, at 9:30 AM from the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., 1442 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 AM in Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 116 Hughes Street, Swoyersville, with the Reverend Richard J.
