Margaret V. Mulaski, 81, a resident of Kingston, and formerly of Kossack Street, Swoyersville, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 07, 2022, at her home.
Her husband of 44 years was the late Joseph “Bear” Mulaski, who passed away on July 30, 2005.
Born on March 24, 1941, in New York City, Marge was one of four children born to the late John Bahnweg and Veronica Bryk Bahnweg.
Raised in Avoca and Duryea, Marge was a graduate of the former Duryea High School.
A certified nurses’ aide for 30 years, Marge spent the following 18 years as the nanny for the children of Greg Fellerman and Toni Barrouk, and she loved their children, Elise, Ava, and Aiden, as if they were her own. Throughout her working years, she lived with the core values of being hard-working, dependable, and always on time!
Marge was a past member of the former Saint Mary of Czestochowa Church, Swoyersville. Following the consolidation of her church, she became a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Swoyersville.
A woman of many enjoyments, Marge especially enjoyed going to the beach; marveling at beautiful plants; playing Bingo; watching a good movie; and seeing her favorite grand-dog, Fred.
Family was the center of Marge’s life and she treasured every moment she shared with her loved ones. Having her family together at the holidays was always important to her, especially on Christmas Eve when they would share the Polish tradition of Wigilia. Not only was Marge beloved by her family, she also was beloved by her many friends, and her beautiful presence will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, John and Veronica Bahnweg, and her husband, Joseph, Marge was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Youngblood, who passed away on March 01, 2017; and her brother, John L. Bahnweg.
Marge is survived by her children, Kathleen Williamson and her husband, Ray, Edwardsville; Joseph Mulaski and his wife, April, Bangor; Bernard Mulaski, Lavelle; and Kim Mulaski and her fiancé, Scott “Rocky” Phillips, Swoyersville; her fourteen grandchildren, Kristen, Jack, Taylor, Kristine, Joey, Elizabeth, Robert, Jesse, Jessica, Francesca, Armand, Samantha, Scott, and Jon Luke; her ten great-grandchildren, Addison, Reagan, Kyle, Emma, Mila, Rori, Mark, Marshall, Avery, and Caley; her sisters, June Moran and Grace Gilhooley; as well as her nieces and nephews.
The Mulaski Family wishes to thank Marge’s case manager, Sarah Dorsey RN, for all the love and support she bestowed upon Marge and her family through the years. They also wish to thank the nurses and staff from Hospice of the Sacred Heart for all they did for Marge during her final days.
