Margaret “Peggy” Gavlick, 83, a resident of Swoyersville, passed into eternal life on Sunday evening, October 27, 2024, in the comfort of her home.
Her beloved husband of 51 years was the late Stanley Gavlick Jr., who passed away on May 30, 2012.
Born on July 26, 1941, in Kingston, Peggy was one of four children born to the late Charles Hosey and Agnes Pahl Hosey. Her brothers, Leonard and Charles Hosey, and sister, Charlotte Demko, preceded her in death.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Karen Norton; Cheryl Bednar; S. Michael Gavlick; and Melissa Kuliska; as well as her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In accordance with Peggy’s wishes, the viewing and service were private for her family. A Blessing Service was celebrated by the Reverend Father John J. Chmil, Pastor of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Swoyersville.
Interment with the Rite of Committal followed in Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Swoyersville.
The Gavlick Family entrusted Peggy’s funeral arrangements to the care of the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., 1442 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort.
