Margaret A. Wooditch, 84, a resident of Swoyersville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday evening, January 01, 2015, at York Hospital, York, Pennsylvania, while she and her husband were visiting their son, Mark and his family, in Windsor.Her loving husband is Leonard M. Wooditch. Together, Leonard and Margaret celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on October 16, 2014.Born on March 01, 1930, in Wilkes-Barre, Margaret was the daughter of the late Martin and Agnes (Petrus) Vojcik.Raised in Wilkes-Barre, Margaret was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School, Class of 1948.Prior to her retirement, Margaret was employed as a seamstress for various garment manufacturers throughout the Wyoming Valley. She held membership with the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.A faithful Catholic, Margaret was a devout member of Holy Family Roman Catholic Parish, Luzerne, where she was a daily communicant.Margaret and Leonard were blessed to travel over the years. They enjoyed taking family trips to Ocean City, Maryland, and attending many of Leonard’s Navy Reunions together.Above all, Margaret’s greatest joy in life was being surrounded by her beloved family. She greatly enjoyed cooking and baking for her loved ones, and was proud to keep all of her family’s holiday traditions alive.Margaret will forever be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Although her presence will be deeply missed, she leaves behind a legacy that will continue to live on in the hearts of all those who loved her.In addition to her parents, Martin and Agnes Vojcik, Margaret was preceded in death by her brothers, Andrew, Martin, Joseph and Anthony Voycheck; her sister, Rose Krisanda.In addition to her husband, Leonard, Margaret is survived by her sons, Leonard Wooditch, Swoyersville; Richard Wooditch and his wife, Lisa, Dallas; Mark Wooditch and his wife, Vickie, Windsor; her daughters, Carol Wooditch, Swoyersville; Theresa Piso and her husband, Craig, Larksville; Margaret Huck, Macungie; and Marie Dankovitch and her husband, Jim, Plains; her son-in-law, William Huck, Northampton; her 13 grandchildren, Tracy and Erica Hoeppner; Brianna and Hailey Huck; James and Vanessa Dankovitch; Amanda, Christopher, Ricky, Rachael and Laura Wooditch; and David and Lindsay Wooditch; her 5 great-grandchildren, Mikey, Chelsea, Makayla, Gabby and Mia; her numerous nieces and nephews.Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral which will be conducted on Monday, January 05, 2015, at 9:30 AM, from the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., 1442 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 AM in Holy Family Parish, 574 Bennett Street, Luzerne, with the Reverend Michael J.
