Margaret A. Kadish, 69, a lifelong resident of Swoyersville, passed into eternal life unexpectedly on Saturday evening, December 10, 2016, at her home.
Born on August 12, 1947, in Kingston, Margaret was one of four children born to the late Adolph A. Kadish Jr. and Bertha M. (Smulkstis) Kadish.
Raised in Swoyersville, Margaret was a graduate of the former West Side Central Catholic High School, Kingston, Class of 1965.
Margaret began her career working as a bookkeeper for Sordoni Construction Services, Inc., Forty Fort, and later went on to work in the same capacity for Altec Industries, Plains Township. Margaret was currently employed as a bookkeeper for Green Valley Landscaping, Plains Township.
A faithful Catholic, Margaret was a lifelong member of the former Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Swoyersville. Following the consolidation of her church, she became a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Swoyersville.
Margaret enjoyed many things in life, most especially gardening, cooking, watching cooking and home improvement programs, and music. Most of all, her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her loving family. Although her presence will be deeply missed, Margaret leaves behind a legacy of being a caring and devoted daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.
Margaret is survived by her brother, Bernard Kadish, Swoyersville; her sister, Dorothy Goeckel and her husband, John, Larksville; her brother, David Kadish and his wife, Denise, Indiana, Pennsylvania; her nephews, Richard Goeckel and his wife, Krista, Massachusetts, and Michael Goeckel and his wife, Cathy, and their children, Zackery, Nickolas, and Lukas, all of Marysville; her niece, Sheon Kadish, Indiana, Pennsylvania; as well as her many cousins and friends.
Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral which will be conducted on Friday, December 16, 2016, at 10:30 AM from the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., 1442 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 AM in Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 116 Hughes Street, Swoyersville, with the Reverend Joseph J. Pisaneschi, her Pastor, officiating.
Interment with the Rite of Committal will follow in Saint Mary the Annunciation Roman Catholic Cemetery, Pringle.
