Louise M. Martin, 61, a lifelong resident of the Heights section of Wilkes-Barre, entered into eternal life on Tuesday morning, June 03, 2014, at her home.
Her husband is Allen R. Martin. Together, Allen and Louise would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on December 7th.
Born on May 05, 1953, in Wilkes-Barre, Louise was the daughter of the late Edward and Catherine (Thiel) Kwarcinski.
Louise was a graduate of G.A.R. Memorial High School, Class of 1971.
A homemaker most of her life, Louise took great pride in tending to the daily needs of her home and family.
Family was the center of Louise’s life and she cherished every moment she had with her loved ones. Though her presence will be greatly missed, she leaves behind a legacy of being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
In addition to her husband, Allen, Louise is survived by her children, Tracey Voitek and her husband Joseph, of Wyoming; Tara Daywood and her husband Rich, of Wilkes-Barre; and Leonard Martin, of Wilkes-Barre; her three grandsons, Bryce and Garrett Voitek; and Jacob Daywood; her brother, Edward Kwarcinski and his wife Jean, of Wilkes-Barre; her brother-in-law, Gus Martin and his wife Millie, of Toms River, New Jersey; her cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend Louise’s funeral which will be conducted on Monday, June 09, 2014, at 9:30 AM from the Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, 21 North Meade Street, Wilkes-Barre, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 AM in Saint Andrew’s Roman Catholic Parish, 316 Parrish Street, Wilkes-Barre, with the Reverend James E. McGahagan, Pastor, officiating.
Interment with the Rite of Committal will follow in Hanover Green Cemetery, Hanover Township.
Family and Friends are invited to call on Sunday, June 08, 2014, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, at the Jendrzejewski Funeral Home.
