Lorraine Milius Talerico, affectionately known as “Nannie”, 69, a resident of Swoyersville, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, August 03, 2014, at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.Her loving husband is Francis “Tal” Talerico. Lorraine and Francis would have celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary on August 10th.Born on January 18, 1945, in Kingston, Lorraine was the daughter of the late John and Lottie (Katchko) Milius.Raised in Swoyersville, Lorraine was a graduate of the former Swoyersville High School, Class of 1962.Prior to her retirement this past January, Lorraine was employed for 46 years as an accounts payable clerk for Pagnotti Enterprises, Wilkes-Barre.Lorraine was a faithful Catholic and longtime member of the former Saint Mary of Czestochowa Roman Catholic Church, Swoyersville. Following the consolidation of her church, she became a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Parish, Swoyersville.Family was the center of Lorraine’s life and she cherished spending time with her loved ones. Lorraine also enjoyed dining with her husband at their favorite restaurant, Andy Perugino’s in Luzerne.Lorraine will forever be remembered as a devoted wife, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend. Though her beautiful presence will be greatly missed, her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those she held dear.In addition to her parents, John and Lottie Milius, Lorraine was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Milius; and her sister, Patricia Swaboski.In addition to her husband, Francis, Lorraine is survived by her brother, John Milius and his wife, Elizabeth, Swoyersville; her brother-in-law, Joseph Swaboski, Wyoming; her sister-in-law, Donna Milius, Dallas; her nephew, Jonathan Milius and his wife, Eryn, Plymouth; her niece, Janelle Milius, Larksville; and many friends.Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral which will be conducted on Friday, August 08, 2014, at 9:30 AM from the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., 1442 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 AM in Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 116 Hughes Street, Swoyersville, with the Reverend Joseph J.
