Loraine A. Bellio, 77, of Bear Creek Township, went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, surrounded by her family. Her husband of 44 years, Robert W. Bellio, and her sister, Joyce Ochs, preceded her in death.
Born on June 27, 1947, in Paterson, New Jersey, Loraine was the daughter of the late Edward and Anna Francischelli. She graduated from Mary Help of Christians Catholic School in North Haledon, New Jersey, and later became a licensed cosmetologist.
Early in her career, she started her business, The Cutter’s Edge, Grand Island, New York, and was the co-founder of Bellio Plumbing and Heating, which she ran with her late husband, Robert W. Bellio.
Loraine loved her family and Jesus more than anything else and made them both the center of her life. She served as the Executive Vice President of Faith Broadcasting Network Corporation, owned by her best friend, Kathy Potera, where she made it her mission to love and serve others through television ministry. She was an Ordained Minister and an active member of The Global Apostolic Network. She was a member of both Perspective Church, Pittston and the Faith, Family, Fellowship Ministry.
Loraine treasured her family more than life itself and is survived by her children: Alyssa Fusaro, Luzerne; Robert Bellio, Wilkes-Barre, and his wife, Tara; Denielle Hamilton, Bear Creek Township, and her husband, Jeffrey; Brooke Bellio, East Stroudsburg and her wife, Alison; Joshua Bellio, Kingston; and Seth Bellio, Dallas, and his wife, Caitlin; her beloved grandchildren, Courtney, Kenidee, Rocco, Giovanni, Joshua, Jeffrey, Nico, Parker, Colin, Jenalee, Gino and Emmett; and many nieces and nephews.
Loraine was loved by all who met her and was well known for signing up everyone she met for her text message ministry, in which she would text a daily Bible verse to each person. Her love and compassion for those around her was unmatched.
