Sis. Lena was my late father's cousin.. his favorite kindred spirit. She spread God's Light wherever she was and yes, just as the obituary states, sis. Lena really was a living example of Christ to her family and to all of us. I will never forget the times I was able to visit her in the Meadows Nursing Home before COVID-19.. Though she couldn't speak much , you could see her soul shining out of her eyes.. which spoke volumes more than words. Jesus shone from her eyes. He was in sis. Lena, and now she is in His arms, experiencing the joy she never thought would come to her-- after the exile of physical sufferings she had to go through here before Heaven. Her many neices and nephews were a real great support for her. They sacrificed much so that Lena could be taken care of at the Meadowlands Rehab Center. God bless them and her entire family. You are all in my prayers for the temporary loss of such a great woman!
