Mrs. Pitcavage was my favorite teacher I was so excited when they called me into her class on the first day of school. I was also very excited to see what you had for our class to do everyday. The day the guidece councilor told us I was in complete shock as well as the rest of the class. I was looking forward to the fun at the end of the year like the field trip and field day plus tons more.

Mrs.Pitcavage you were my favorite teacher I was so happy when they called me into your class on the first day of school. Mrs. Pitcavage was my 6th grade teacher. She was an amazing and funny teacher. I will NEVER forget her. Everyone misses and loves her. Before I went to her class, I didn't like Science or Social Studies. She taught me in a way that I could understand and like them both. She was my favorite teacher! I love her very much and miss her.

Dearest Michael & Children, I am saddened and my heart is heavy with much sorrow for your loss. Words alone cannot express my feelings right now, but know that Kathy is in the loving arms of our Lord and looking down upon all of you, to give you the strength you need during this difficult time. Her love and spirit will live on forever in your hearts and for many others, as well. The sudden loss of a classmate makes one realize that we are put on this earth only temporarily and for a purpose, before going home to Our Father. My thoughts and many prayers are with you all. God Bless You.

Linda McGeehan left a message on January 18, 2013:
Dear Michael, Annie and Jamie, Our entire family is deeply saddened over the sudden loss of Kathy. There are so many wonderful stories to remember about her. Tom often mentioned their many conversations when they had opportunities to talk as Kathy walked the dog. What Tom remembers most is her huge smile, easy going manner, and her joyful spirit. I will always remember her selfless generosity the year she drove me to and from school every day because I wanted to indulge my son with my car during his senior year in high school. She never made me feel guilty and never once said she was unable to do it. She always rearranged her schedule and I was unaware of inconveniences that I may have caused. We had many great chats that year and she will never know how she uplifted my spirit, as that was the year I tragically lost my sister. God puts us close with special people for many reasons. Eileen reminded me about Kathy driving her home from CCD class every Sunday so Tom and I would not need to make an extra trip. Jamie, Eileen also reminded me about you hassling her on the ride home as young people just horsing around do. My son and our family had the the great honor of Kathy teaching him in 6th grade. He was a lucky boy and we were a fortunate family. Kathy was a fabulous diligent teacher. So Dear Michael, Annie and Jamie, Know that your mother was loved, respected, admired and above all SELFLESS. The McGeehan Family have fond memories and will miss her. Love to All
