Judith Losito Hassey, 51, of Forty Fort, daughter of Anthony Losito and Dolores “Dori” (Margalski) Losito, peacefully entered God’s kingdom, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday evening, October 01, 2014, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.Judy was a graduate of Bishop Hoban High School and Wilkes-Barre Area School of Nursing. She was currently employed at Children’s Service Center as an Outpatient Practice Nurse Manager, and was formerly employed as a nurse at Valley Crest Nursing Home and Pediatric Associates of Kingston.Judy was preceded in death by an infant brother, John Jude Losito, as well as her maternal grandparents, Leo and Wanda Margalski, and her paternal grandparents, Frank and Ellen Losito.Judy was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, and prior to her illness, was training for a triathalon.During her illness, she was blessed with the kindness of her employers and fellow workers at Children’s Service Center, with whom she found comfort daily while sharing prayers. But without a doubt, the pride and joy of Judy’s life were her four adoring children, Anthony, Raymond Jr., Avery Ann and Kaelyn Marie, whose strength and love made her last days and hours somewhat bearable.In addition to her parents and children, Judy is surived by her sisters, Sandra Schmoll, Terri Rittenhouse and Cherie Blanzola; and her dearest and most devoted friend, Debbie Lefkowitz, and her lifelong friends, Cindy Wagner and Lora Martin. Judy is also survived by her aunts, uncles, nephews and great-nephews.Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated on Saturday, October 04, 2014, at 10:00 AM in Saint Robert Bellarmine Parish, Saint Aloysius Church, 143 West Division Street, Wilkes-Barre, with Monsignor Donald A. McAndrews, pastor Emeritus, serving as celebrant, and the Reverend Kevin P.
