Josephine Wozniak, 94, a resident of Kingston and formerly of Swoyersville, passed into eternal life on Friday afternoon, December 23, 2022, at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, following a brief illness.

Born on March 09, 1928, in Wyoming, Josephine was one of six children born to the late Harrison Wozniak and Annastazia Bobyczuk Wozniak.

Raised in Swoyersville, Josephine was a graduate of the former Swoyersville High School, Class of 1946.

Prior to her retirement in 1993, Josephine was employed for many years as an inspector for Techneglas, formerly Owens-Illinois Inc. and Kimble Glass Products, Jenkins Township. She was also employed for 26 years by Blue Ribbon Cake Company, Kingston.

The last member of her immediate family, Josephine was preceded in death by her five brothers, Peter Wozniak, Paul Wozniak, Joseph Wozniak, John Wozniak, and Michael Wozniak.

Josephine is survived by generations of nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Josephine’s viewing which will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., 1442 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort. A Blessing Service will be celebrated at 11:00 AM by the Reverend Father Joseph J. Pisaneschi, Pastor of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Swoyersville.

Interment will follow in the Denison Cemetery, Swoyersville.
