Jerome T. Crilley, 61, of Swoyersville, passed away of natural causes at his home on June 14, 2022.
Born in Hazleton on October 14, 1960, he was the son of the late Hayden Crilley and Josephine (Dulcey) Crilley.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, James Crilley; sister-in-law, Charlene Crilley; and nephew, Chris Crilley.
Jerome is survived by his partner, Elena Leandri, Forty Fort; brother, Fran Crilley, Mountain Top; brother, Hayden Crilley, Arlington, Mass.; brother, Robert Crilley; sister-in-law, Annette Crilley, Mountain Top; brother, Kevin Crilley and his wife, Michelle, Sumneytown; brother, Brian Crilley and his wife, Elizabeth, Mountain Top; seven nieces, three great-nieces, and two great-nephews.
Jerome was a devoted partner, son, brother, and uncle, who enjoyed gardening, woodworking, hiking, and spending time in the woods observing nature. Recently retired, he enjoyed spending time at his sanctuary in the mountains of Sullivan County. He was an exceptional fisherman and an avid, ethical hunter.
Jerome graduated from Crestwood High School in Mountain Top and Wilkes-Barre Vocational-Technical School. He was an active member of the American Legion Post 644, Swoyersville.
Jerome was a Sales Representative for over 40 years; employed by Domoco Gas & Oil, Klein Candy, and City Center Wholesale.
A celebration of Jerome’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
