Her beloved husband was the late John D. Zabrenski, who passed away on November 17, 2016, after 63 wonderful years of marriage.
Born on February 22, 1933, in Nanticoke, Jean was the only child born to the late Anthony Krieger and Helen Stychyn Krieger.

Jean was a devoted homemaker who lovingly tended to the daily needs of her husband and children.
A faithful Catholic, Jean was a longtime member of the former Saint Stanislaus Church, Nanticoke. Following the consolidation of her church, she became a member of Saint Faustina Kowalska Parish, Holy Trinity Church, Nanticoke.
Jean enjoyed the simple pleasures in life such as shopping, and occasional trips to the Mohegan Sun and the casinos of Atlantic City. Above all, her family brought her the greatest joy in life and she truly cherished every moment she shared with her loved ones.
In addition to her parents, Anthony and Helen Krieger, and her husband, John, Jean was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Norman S. Darling.
Left to cherish Jean’s memory are her four children, David Zabrenski and his wife, Tracy, Mountain Top; Deborah Darling, Dallas; Donna Zabrenski, Plymouth; and Diane Hogan and her husband, Michael, Dallas; her six grandchildren, Michael Darling; Jason Darling; Aaron Hogan; Ryan Hogan and his wife, Taylor; Sarah Tilletski and her husband, Joseph; and Taylor Zabrenski; her great-granddaughter, Ellie Hogan; as well as her nieces and nephews from the Zabrenski family.
The family wishes to extend their most sincere gratitude to the nurses and staff at the Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Dallas, for the compassionate care they bestowed upon Jean during her short time there.
