Jason Patrick Kilduff, affectionally known by his family as “Jaybird”, 41, a resident of Pittston, passed away on Friday morning, September 30, 2022.
His loving wife is Lauren E. Mizenko Kilduff. Together, Jason and Lauren celebrated their 7th wedding anniversary on July 18th.
Born on January 15, 1981, in Duluth, Minnesota, Jason was the son of Edward Kilduff, Tobyhanna, and Theresa McKeever Phillips and her husband, Larry, Coon Rapids, Minnesota.
Raised in Minnesota, Jason was a graduate of Grand Rapids High School, Grand Rapids, Minnesota, Class of 1999, and furthered his education at Dunwoody College of Technology, Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he studied Architecture.
Moving to the local area in 2011, Jason became employed by Coccia Ford, Wilkes-Barre, working for some time as a salesman and eventually becoming manager of Coccia Collision Center. At work, he was known to be a perfectionist and formed close bonds with his fellow co-workers and many customers.
Jason was a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Swoyersville.
Jason had a great love for cars, and he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and drag racing. Some of his other enjoyments were golfing with his league at Four Seasons Golf Club in Exeter; working on projects around his home; and cutting his lawn on his riding lawn mower. Many would not know that he was skilled at sewing and hemming, and that he enjoyed making blankets and mending clothing.
In the eyes of his loved ones, Jason is irreplaceable! He was a loving and devoted husband and father – his wife and children were his life, and he cherished them beyond measure. A faithful and adored son, brother, uncle, in-law, and friend, Jason was always there for his family and friends. Although his presence will be deeply missed, his legacy lives on through his beloved children, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all his loved ones.
Jason was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Patricia Jacien; his maternal grandparents, Michael and Margaret McKeever; and his father-in-law, Richard Mizenko.
In addition to wife, Lauren; his parents, Edward, and Theresa and Larry; Jason is survived by his children, Madison “Maddie” and Owen Kilduff, at home; Hailey and Sara Kilduff, and their mother, Susan Kilduff, all of Bovey, Minnesota; his brother, Kristopher Kilduff and his wife, Heidi, Grand Rapids, Minnesota; his sister, Nicole Wolf, Grand Rapids, Minnesota; his mother-in-law, Gloria Mizenko, Swoyersville; as well as his sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.
