Raised in Kingston, Scott was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School, Class of 1978, and went on to further his education at Luzerne County Community College, where, in 1981, he acquired his associate’s degree in applied science.
Until recently, Scott was employed as an automotive parts salesman for Carquest Auto Parts, Scranton and prior to that, in the same capacity for many years for the former Arthur Pachter Automotive, Wilkes-Barre and Scranton.
Scott was a longtime member of the Sons of the American Legion at the American Legion, Andrew Lawrence Post 644, Swoyersville. He was also a great lover of music no matter the genre or era, and also possessed a great love for cats, especially his three special kitties at home.
