George A. Barilla, 80, of Swoyersville, passed away on Thursday, January 04, 2024, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township.
Born on December 07, 1943, in Swoyersville, George was the son of the late Joseph Barilla and Anna Biresh Barilla.
George was a devout member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Swoyersville.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 56 years, Sherene M. Missler Barilla., and their daughter, Jennifer Barilla Britzke and her husband, B.J., West Wyoming; granddaughter, Kyra Britzke; as well as his nieces, nephews, cousins and thousands of friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial visitation on Friday, January 12, 2024, from 9:30 to 11:00 AM in Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 116 Hughes Street, Swoyersville. A memorial Mass will commence at 11:00 AM with the Reverend Father Joseph J. Pisaneschi, family friend and former Pastor, officiating.
Burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Swoyersville, will be private at a later date.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., 1442 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort.
