Frances T. “Francie” Klimash, 93, a longtime resident of Swoyersville, and more recently a resident of The Village at Greenbriar, Dallas, passed into eternal life on Tuesday afternoon, May 16, 2017, at The Gardens at Lakeside, Dallas, where she was a guest since February.
Her beloved husband was the late Chester S. Klimash, who passed away on March 19, 1982. Together, Chester and Francie shared 35 wonderful years of marriage.
Born on July 26, 1923, in Swoyersville, Francie was one of seven children born to the late Walter and Stella (Pszolkowski) Andrzejewski. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Raised in Swoyersville, Francie attended the former Swoyersville High School.
Prior to her retirement, Francie was employed as a seamstress for the former United Pants Factory, Swoyersville. In her earlier years she was employed by the former General Cigar Company, West Pittston.
Francie was a faithful Catholic and a lifelong member of the former Saint Mary of Czestochowa Church, Swoyersville. Following the consolidation of her church, she became a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Swoyersville.
In addition to her parents, Walter and Stella Andrzejewski, and her husband, Chester, Francie was preceded in death by her brothers, Walter Andrzejewski, Chester Andrzejewski, and Edward Andrews; and her sisters, Wanda Coniglio, Ann Zdanovicz, and Jennie Manini.
Francie is survived by her numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the nurses and staff at The Village at Greenbriar Personal Care, as well as the doctors, nurses and staff of The Gardens at Lakeside, for the outstanding care they all bestowed upon Francie.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral which will be conducted on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at 9:30 AM from the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., 1442 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 AM in Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 116 Hughes Street, Swoyersville, with the Reverend Joseph J. Pisaneschi, her Pastor, officiating.
Interment with the Rite of Committal will follow in Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Swoyersville.
Family and Friends are invited to call on Monday, May 22, 2017, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, at the funeral home.
