Frances F. Kepich, 93, a resident of Exeter, passed into eternal life unexpectedly on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at her home.
Her beloved husband was the late Michael J. Kepich, who passed away on May 13, 2012. Together, Michael and Frances shared 63 beautiful years of marriage.
Born on July 17, 1928, in Swoyersville, Frances was one of eight children born to the late Peter and Frances (Romanowski) Stanishefski.
Raised in Swoyersville, Frances was educated there, and prior to her retirement, she was employed as a seamstress in the local garment industry.
A devout Catholic, Frances was a life-long member of the former Saint Mary of Czestochowa Church, Swoyersville, where she held membership with the church’s Sacred Heart Society. Following the closing of her church, she became a member of Saint Barbara’s Parish, Saint Cecelia’s Church, Exeter, holding membership with the Saint Barbara’s Chapel Prayer Group.
In addition to her parents, Peter and Frances Stanishefski, and her husband, Michael, Frances was preceded in death by her brothers, Felix, Stanley, Chester, and Walter Stanishefski; and her sisters, Tessie Lecoski, Helen Saren, and Eleanor Wojnarski.
Frances is survived by her three children, Michael M. Kepich and his wife, Ann, Bolivia, North Carolina; Daniel Kepich and his wife, Maria, Bath, New York; and Mariann Sheehan and her husband, Christopher, Bergenfield, New Jersey; her six grandchildren, Dr. Candice Kepich and her husband, Dr. Ryan Radakovich; Jeffrey Kepich P.E. and his wife, Erin; Dr. Alicia Kepich-Lopez and her husband, Hector; Jacey Kepich; Jenna Kepich; and Danielle Duran and her husband, Ryan; her six great-grandchildren; as well as generations of nieces and nephews.
Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend Frances’ Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated on Monday, February 07, 2022, at 10:00 AM in Saint Barbara’s Parish, Saint Cecelia’s Church, 1700 Wyoming Avenue, Exeter, with the Reverend Michael Finn, her Pastor, officiating.
Interment with the Rite of Committal will follow in Saint John the Baptist Roman Catholic Cemetery, Schooley Avenue, Exeter.
In accordance with Frances’ wishes, the viewing will be private for her family members.
