Elizabeth M. Krysinski, 99, formerly of Lackawanna Avenue, Swoyersville, passed away peacefully on Friday evening, January 01, 2016, at the Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Dallas.
Her beloved husband was the late Richard E. Krysinski, who passed away on June 29, 1991.
Born on July 06, 1916, in Swoyersville, Elizabeth was one of nine children born to the late Paul and Anna (Banyar) Tressa.
Raised in Swoyersville, Elizabeth attended the former Holy Trinity School, Swoyersville.
For many years, Richard and Elizabeth resided in Irvington, New Jersey. In 1983, the couple returned to Elizabeth’s hometown of Swoyersville where they enjoyed their retirement years.
A homemaker most of her life, Elizabeth dedicated herself to tending to the daily needs of her home and family.
Elizabeth was a faithful Catholic and a longtime member of the former Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Swoyersville, now known as Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish.
In addition to her parents, Paul and Anna Tressa, and her husband, Richard, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her brothers, George, Paul, and John Tressa; her sisters, Mary Tressa, Julia Kudirka, Margaret Cebrick, Ann Ayres, and Frances Orlando.
Elizabeth is survived by her sons, Richard J. Krysinski, and his wife, Patricia, Ashley, and Mark P. Krysinski, and his wife, Blanche, Micco, Florida; her two grandchildren, James and Kathleen Krysinski; and her many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral which will be conducted on Tuesday, January 05, 2016, at 9:30 AM from the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., 1442 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 AM in Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 116 Hughes Street, Swoyersville, with the Reverend Joseph J. Pisaneschi, her Pastor, officiating.
Interment with the Rite of Committal will follow in Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Cemetery, Swoyersville.
Family and Friends are invited to call on Monday evening, January 04, 2016, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, at the funeral home.
