Edward J. Kruzlik, 61, a resident of Swoyersville, passed away unexpectedly on Friday afternoon, November 29, 2013, at his home.
Born on June 26, 1952, in Wilkes-Barre, Edward was one of eleven children born to the late Joseph and Margaret (Kuhar) Kruzlik.
Raised in Swoyersville, Edward was a graduate of the former Central Catholic High School, Class of 1970.
A United States Navy Veteran, Edward honorably served his country for four years during the Vietnam Era.
Edward was currently employed as a welder for Inter Metro Industries Corporation, Wilkes-Barre.
In addition to his parents, Joseph and Margaret Kruzlik, Edward was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Kruzlik, who passed away on August 16, 1984.
Edward is survived by his brothers and sisters, Ann McNulty, Dallas; Judith Gregg, Dallas; Margaret Clothier, Dallas; Joseph Kruzlik, Wilkes-Barre; Charles Kruzlik, Plymouth; Marian Zbegner, Dorrance; Mark Kruzlik, Forkston; Joan Kruzlik-Reese, Mountaintop; and Janet Rhone, Beaumont; his numerous nieces and nephews.
A private Blessing Service will be celebrated followed by interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Swoyersville.
There will be no public calling hours.
