Donna Lee O’Donnell

Donna Lee O’Donnell, of Swoyersville, entered into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born to the late Cecilia Tosi Romanowski and Peter Romanowski, Donna Lee was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Alice Kacsmar, and her brother, Paul Romanowski. She now joins them in eternal rest, held in the tender care of her Heavenly Father.

She is survived by her only son, David O’Donnell and his wife, Lorraine, and their daughter, Aurora, of Hickory, North Carolina. Donna Lee’s greatest joy was her only granddaughter, Aurora, whom she lovingly called “my Dollie.” Her love for her family was a beautiful reflection of God’s grace in her life.

Also surviving are her sister Cecilia “Cookie” Shuman and her husband, Ron, Berwick; her nephew, Arnold; and grandnieces and nephews.

Donna Lee’s warm spirit, gentle heart, and deep love for those closest to her will be cherished forever. May she rest in the peace of Christ, and may the Lord comfort all who mourn her passing.
