Deborah “Debbie” Rusnock, 66, a resident of Swoyersville, passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018, at her home, surrounded by her husband and children. She fought a long, four year battle with cancer.
Her loving husband is Gerald “Jerry” Rusnock. Together, Jerry and Debbie celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary on July 25th.
Born on May 27, 1952, in Wilkes-Barre, Debbie was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Hrycyna) Ference.
Debbie worked various jobs throughout her life, and she always took pride in her work.
A woman of many enjoyments, Debbie especially enjoyed playing bingo and cooking for her family. Above all, her greatest enjoyments in life were spending time with her children and grandchildren, playing board games, and going out with her loved ones to “The Grille” every week.
In addition to her husband, Jerry, Debbie is survived by her three children, Gerald “Jerry” Rusnock and his companion, Michelle Long, Kingston; James Rusnock, Swoyersville; Sherri Parsons and her husband, Bill, Swoyersville; her three grandchildren, Billy Parsons, Sydney Rusnock, and Ryan Rusnock; her brother, John “Jack” Tochenny and his wife, Linda, Swoyersville; her sisters, Barbara Miller and her husband, James, Shavertown; and Cathy Lamark and her husband, Jerry, Forty Fort; her brother in-law, Michael and Betty Rusnock; her many nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and loved ones.
In accordance with Debbie’s wishes, funeral services will be private.
