His loving wife of 63 years is Mary D. Bartorillo Kodaski. Also surviving are a niece and nephew, Joan Chukinas and Edward Chukinas, both of Plains Township; as well as several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Born on January 07, 1937, in Hudson, Daniel was one of two children born to the late Ignatius Kodaski and Elizabeth Bilski Kodaski. Beside his parents, his sister, Joan Chukinas, preceded him in death.
A 1954 graduate of West Scranton High School, Daniel enlisted with the U.S. Army after high school, honorably serving his country for 3 years as a paratrooper during peacetime, and attaining the rank of SP3.
Daniel was employed as a deliveryman for Cooks Pharmacy, Kingston, retiring at the age of 84, and prior to that was employed in the reclamation department of Lord and Taylor, Wilkes-Barre Township.
