Christopher Emmert, 37, a resident of Kingston, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Thursday evening, March 12, 2015, at his home.Born on January 08, 1978, in Wilkes-Barre, Chris was the son of Audrey A. (Davis) Emmert, of Kingston, and the late William E. Emmert, who passed away on March 26, 2014.Raised in Forty Fort, Chris was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School, Class of 1996.Following high school, Chris went on to attend Kings College for two years. During his second year at Kings, he was one of forty-three students nationwide who were hand selected to continue their studies at the University of Notre Dame, where Chris received his Bachelor Degree in Business Finance with a minor in Economics in 2001.Over the years, Chris was employed in the banking industry as both a mortgage loan officer and marketing manager.First and foremost, Chris was greatly devoted to his beloved daughters, Julia and Claire, who were the light of his life. His life revolved around his girls, and anyone who knew Chris, knew that he lived for his daughters.Chris always maintained a close relationship with his family and friends, and he constantly regarded how blessed he was to have so many supportive people in his life.True to his alma mater, Chris was a die-hard fan of Notre Dame, and had the opportunity to attend many of their football games. He was very proud to receive his education at the University of Notre Dame, where he forged many lifelong friendships.Chris will be remembered as a loving and devoted father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. Although his time on this Earth was short, the impact he made on others will last forever.In addition to his father, William E. Emmert, Chris was preceded in death by his beloved brother, Jamie Emmert, who passed away on September 13, 2010; his maternal grandparents, Arthur and Mary Davis; his paternal grandparents, Robert and Emily Emmert.In addition to his mother, Audrey A. (Davis) Emmert, Chris is survived by his beloved daughters, Julia and Claire Emmert, of Bryn Mawr; his brothers, William Emmert and his wife, Angela, Nanticoke; and Shawn Emmert, Exeter; his sister, Jill Emmert and Shane Taylor, Forty Fort; his nephew, Billy Emmert; his nieces, Alyssa Emmert and Sadie Taylor; his cousin and confidant, John Galenty; his former wife and mother of his children, Christine McDonnell Emmert, Bryn Mawr; his aunts, uncles, cousins and many good friends.Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral which will be conducted on Friday, March 20, 2015, at 10:15 AM, from the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., 1442 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort, followed by a Blessing Service with the Rite of Committal at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, 1594 South Main Street, Hanover Township, with the Reverend Joseph J.
