Christine M. “Tina” Kodish Morgan, 73, a resident of Kingston, passed into eternal life unexpectedly on Saturday morning, January 25, 2025, at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born on December 17, 1951, in Kingston, Tina was one of three children born to the late Edward Kodish and Helen Grungesky Kodish.
Raised in Edwardsville, Tina was a graduate of West Side Vocational Technical School, Pringle, Class of 1969.
For many years, Tina was employed by the Beer Deli, Kingston. She then went on to become employed by the Salvation Army Thrift Store, Wilkes-Barre Township, retiring from there.
Tina was a member of the Kingston Active Adult Center where she forged many friendships, participated in all of the activities, assisted with serving meals, and sang in the acapella group called “Looney Tunes.” Known for her bubbly personality, she loved to socialize, especially if it was over a spirited card game or at bingo. Of her many endearing qualities, none could overshadow the love and devotion she had for her family.
The family wishes to extend their most sincere gratitude to the nurses and staff at Maple Ridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Kingston, for the wonderful care they bestowed upon Tina during her brief stay there.
In addition to her parents, Edward and Helen Kodish, Tina was preceded in death by her brothers, Edward Kodish and his wife, Kathy; and Allyn Kodish and his wife, Marlene.
Left to cherish Tina’s memory are her three children, Robyn Shultz and her husband, Matthew, Indiana, Pennsylvania; Christopher Morgan and his wife, Andrea, Shavertown; and Robert Morgan and his wife, Meghan, Swoyersville; her three grandchildren, Parker Shultz, Cole Morgan, and Jessica Pearson; as well as her nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Tina’s viewing which will be held on Saturday, February 01, 2025, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., 1442 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort, with a Blessing Service to commence at 11:00 AM.
Interment with the Rite of Committal will follow in Saint Mary the Annunciation Roman Catholic Cemetery, Pringle.
