It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Charles “Chuck” R.M. Cahill, who passed away on Wednesday, April 08, 2026.
Born on June 04, 1983, in Albany, New York, Charles was a graduate of Scotia-Glenville High School in upstate New York and went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Neuroscience from Wilkes University, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
Charles was a dedicated employee of the United States Postal Service, where he took great pride in serving his community. He was also a proud union member of the National Association of Letter Carriers, reflecting his strong commitment to his fellow workers and the values of service and solidarity.
Outside of his professional life, Charles enjoyed video gaming and programming/coding – interests that reflected both his curiosity and passion for technology. He especially cherished spending time at home with his family playing Minecraft, instilling the importance of creativity, rebuilding from destruction, and the persistence to overcome difficulties.
Above all, he was a loving and devoted father to his son, Seamus J.B. Cahill of Wyoming, Pennsylvania, and a caring husband to his wife, Jennifer L.B. Cahill.
Charles was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents; his father, J. Richard “Dick” Cahill; his brother, John “Jack” M. Cahill; his godfather and uncle, Van VanSteelant; his uncle-in-law, Peter S. Burry Jr.; and his aunt-in-law, Bernadine F. Burry.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jennifer L.B. Cahill; his son, Seamus J.B. Cahill; his mother, Mary E. Cahill; his godmother and aunt, Marilyn VanSteelant; his sister, Rachel E. Cahill; his sister-in-law, Michele Cahill; his nephew, Liam Cahill; his niece, Sloane Cahill; his father-in-law, Robert P. Burry Sr.; his sister-in-law, Christa A. Scott and her husband, Craig A. Scott; his niece, Debra R. Scott; his nephew, Ethan A. Scott; along with many extended family members, friends, and colleagues who will deeply miss him.
Funeral services for Charles will be private and are in the care of the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., 1442 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort, Pennsylvania. Celebration of life services will be announced at later dates.
