Charles F. Siracuse, 67, a resident of Swoyersville, passed into eternal life on Wednesday, August 02, 2023, at his home.
His loving wife is Cathy A. Catlin Siracuse, with whom Charles celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary on February 17th.
Born on April 17, 1956, in Kingston, Charles was the only son born to the late Charles Siracuse and Angelina Grasso Siracuse.
Raised in Swoyersville, Charles was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School, Class of 1974, and went on to further his education at College Misericordia, now Misericordia University, where, in 1978, he acquired his bachelor of science degree in business administration.
Prior to his retirement, Charles was employed as a bookkeeper for Motorworld, Wilkes-Barre. He also worked in the same capacity for Falcon Beverage, Pittston, and was also part owner of his family’s former business, United Pants Factory, Swoyersville and Plymouth.
An avid sports enthusiast, Charles greatly enjoyed bowling and cheering on his favorite football team, the Cincinnati Bengals.
In addition to his wife, Cathy, Charles is survived by his son, Michael C. Siracuse and his wife, Brianna, Indiana; his step-sons, Christopher Perez, Harrisburg, and Garon Devine, Swoyersville; his grandchildren, Gage, Rowan, and Boston; and his goddaughter, Tonya Hendrickson, Swoyersville.
The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the nurses and staff from Hospice of the Sacred Heart for the outstanding care they provided Charles during his time of need.
Private funeral services are entrusted to the care of the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., 1442 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort. Entombment will be in Mount Olivet Roman Catholic Cemetery, Carverton section of Kingston Township.
