Charlene lived life with gusto. She was one of the most fun people I have ever known! She was very big hearted and would do anything for her family, friends and pets. Her time here made this world a much better place and that is a life well-lived. I'm glad she brightened my life, Lisa Presson
Dr. Ross Tramell left a message on August 28, 2013:
We always had a lift in our spirits when Charlene would walk through the door. Whether it was flowers for one of our nurses, a new video of Rikki jumping off of her dresser or something that Buster decided to eat, she would always know just what to say and do to give us a "lift". Our sincerest condolences to all that have had the pleasure in knowing Charlene.

It’s not very often that you meet someone in life who leaves an indelible impression on you, who makes you feel grateful to have met them and always look forward to another opportunity to get together soon. Well, Charlene was that person. In the amount of time I got to know Charlene, through my friend Kristian, and the many occasions we all got to hang out it always felt like a privilege to be in the enjoyment of her company. Every time there was a "party" with Char, it was a great time! Tula and I will always appreciate and remember the great person she was...her warm hospitality and generosity, the delicious food she always prepared, her wild and rambunctious humor that had the place laughing out, her love for animals, her big heart for the genuine matters in life and so on… You left way too soon Charlene but will you will always be remembered. Our deepest condolences to her family.

I have looked at this page for the last 2 days trying to find the right words to describe Charlene. Well the one thing I can say is that she was always, "the QUEEN!" I've known Char since she got me to step out of my comfort zone and taught me everything she knew about F&I and took me under her wing. I can never thank her enough for that. She was always trying to help someone else before herself! She was always a breath of fresh air and you always knew how she felt about you! Good or bad but I always admired her for that. She was the "F&I Queen" and everyone in the car business that worked with her knew that! She was amazing at her job! Not only that but she was an increidble friend! Always there to listen and enjoy a cocktail with! She loved throwing a good "shindig" as well. To her family and to Kristian, my deepest condolences on her passing. Nothing I can say can help take any pain away from you but Charlene is not in anymore pain and I'm sure is having one heck of a "shindig" herself with her mom and "baby boy!" Love you, Char!!! XO
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

To The Entire Long Family: Please know that each of you have my deepest sympathy. This loss has overwhelming gravity on me, and I hope you can understand my absence from the services. Too often I have carried or have been part of these events making them the very last memories I have of dear departed friends. That will not be the case here, I hope you understand my selfishness if I desire preserving her the way I will always remember her, a beautiful, warm, and loving friend. She shall leave a void in the my life for the rest of my days ..... She knows now, more than anyone - This Closing Signature is one of Love to Her, Forever.

Charlene Long came into our lives as an enigmatic figure...boisterous and polarizing with superlatives of life and exhibiting a strong and autonomous character. She was so full of life and willing to give to others, but was also enamored with the opportunity to contribute to other’s lives for their own betterment. We may have only known her for a short time, but Charlene had a notion for engaging people’s lives at a time when they needed it the most. I am indebted for the confidence, fortitude and courage she faced with me, and with providing Kim and I an opportunity to know her family and meet some wonderful individuals. Endearing people like Charlene are never forgotten, and we move forward entertained with the most charismatic and heartfelt moments of her life.

There are no words that can adequately express the sorrow we all feel. As her oldest cousin, I knew Charlene her entire life and it is difficult to imagine what it will be like without her. I believe the essence of who she was can be stated in 3 words: Love,Generosity and Fun. She loved deeply, was as generous as she could be and she loved to have fun. A room or party would come alive when she arrived because she lived fully and embraced life! I will miss her, we all will, but I know the essence of who she was lives in everyone whose lives she touched...and there are many. She is at the biggest "shindig" ever and having a great time with her mom, grandparents and other loved ones. Party on dear Charlene...I love you.
