Carolyn L. “Lynn” Martin, 60, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, passed away on Friday morning, October 23, 2015, at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born on January 26, 1955, in Hazleton, Lynn was the daughter of Sandra L. (Walker) Jacobs, Wilkes-Barre, and the late David W. Martin.

Raised in Wilkes-Barre, Lynn was a graduate of E.L. Meyers High School, Wilkes-Barre.

Lynn had a spirit that drew people to her, and she opened her big heart to everyone she encountered. She loved to laugh, and had a passion for music.

In addition to her mother, Sandra L. Jacobs, Lynn is survived by her daughter, Andrea Stanley, Wilkes-Barre; her brother, David Martin, California; her sister, Barbara Marcelli, New Jersey; her three nephews and one niece.

Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend Lynn’s Funeral Service which will be held on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 2:30 PM in the Chapel of Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, 1594 South Main Street, Hanover Township, with the Reverend Dr. Robert M. Zanicky, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Wilkes-Barre, officiating.
